Cycleguard is a leading brand in providing specialist bicycle insurance for the protection and insurance cover needs of cyclists and their bicycles, for whatever type of cycling they undertake or bicycles they own. Our products are flexible and allow you to choose the right type of cover to suit your own personal insurance needs as a cyclist.

We offer 5 Cycleguard insurance policies: Cycleguard, Roadcare, Cycleguard 4 Kids, Cycleguard Rescue and Cycleguard Triathlon, each of which are tailored to suit differing insurance and cycling needs.

Our Cycleguard product aims to cover cyclists that use their bicycle for leisure activities and those who commute to work. For an additional premium, you can select racing or competitive cycling. Our insurance product protects your bicycle for theft and accidental damage with an option to ‘create your own cover’ by choosing from a range of further covers including; Public Liability, Worldwide or EU extensions or family members, racing/competition or rescue extensions.

Cycleguard 4 Kids provides theft and accidental damage cover for the bicycles of 12-15 year old children and Cycleguard Triathlon has been endorsed by and developed with The London Triathlon Ltd to provide the insurance cover triathletes need.

Cycleguard Roadcare is a standalone Public liability insurance policy. It doesn’t cover your bicycle and accessories for theft or accidental damage, but it provides up to £5 million to protect against claims from third parties for injury and/or damage to their property whilst using your bicycle. Public liability is also known as third party liability insurance. This cover protects you against third party claims for injury or damage to property - so, for example, you accidentally ride into a person and cause injury or damage - that person could claim against you for compensation.

Our Cycleguard Rescue insurance product is a roadside recovery service for cyclists. If you became unable to complete a journey in the UK due to a cycling accident, vandalism or irreparable breakdown of your bicycle, we will take you and your bicycle to a bicycle repair shop, railway station, car rental agency or your home or alternative overnight accommodation if either are nearer providing it occurs at least one mile from your home.
